Milan offers accommodation for all budgets, and the city is well connected by public transportation, making it easy to reach the conference venue from different neighborhoods.

We recommend booking accommodation as early as possible, as Milan can be busy during conference periods.

Hotel Information

  • Suggested hotels and other accomodation facilities are located in different districts of Milano but generally well connected to the city’s train and metro network and therefore allow you to easily reach the conference venue.
  • Since September 2012, Milan City Council has introduced a city tax for tourists staying overnight in Milan. Tourists will have to pay the city tax in addition to the hotel bill as follows:
    – from 10,00 to 12,00 EUR per person per night for guests staying at 4 and 5-star hotels.
    – from 6,30 to 7,40 EUR per person per night for guests staying at 3-star hotels

Recommended Areas to Stay

Citta’ Studi / Piola

This is the most convenient area for conference participants. It is a lively university district with many cafes, restaurants, and reasonably priced hotels and apartments.

Milano Centrale

The area around Milano Centrale railway station offers a wide selection of hotels in different price ranges and convenient public transport connections to the conference area.

Lambrate

Lambrate is located very close to the conference area and offers several hotels as well as excellent connections via metro and regional trains.
